How to set up BearVPN on macOS?

The BearVPN application for your macOS device (MacBook, iMac, Mac mini, etc.) typically are available on the official BearVPN website or Mac App Store.

To install BearVPN on your macOS device:

• Open your web browser on your Mac.
• Go to the official BearVPN website https://bearvpn.com/. You will usually find a "Download" or "Apps" section. Look for the macOS download option.
• Locate the download link for macOS and click on the download link to start the download.
• Once the download is complete, open the downloaded .dmg file. You can usually find it in your "Downloads" folder, or by clicking on the download icon in your browser.

1. A new window will open, typically showing the BearVPN application icon and an "Applications" folder alias.
2. Drag the BearVPN application icon from this window into the "Applications" folder alias. This will copy the application to your Applications folder.
3. Eject the Disk Image. After copying, you can close the .dmg window and drag the "BearVPN" disk image icon from your desktop or Finder sidebar to the Trash (which will change to an eject symbol) to unmount it.
4. Launch BearVPN. Go to your "Applications" folder (you can open Finder and click "Applications" in the sidebar, or use Spotlight Search by pressing Command + Space and typing "BearVPN").
5. Double-click the BearVPN application icon to open it.
6. Security Prompt (First Launch): The first time you launch an application downloaded from the internet, macOS might ask for confirmation. Click "Open" if prompted. You might also need to go to System Settings (or System Preferences) > Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway" if the app is from an "unidentified developer."
7. Log in & Connect: You have now successfully installed BearVPN on your macOS device. You can now proceed to log in with your existing account or sign up for a new one to connect.
