BearVPN is Not Connecting, What can I do?
If you’re having trouble connecting to BearVPN, don’t worry — this issue can usually be resolved with a few quick checks. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot and restore your secure connection.
1. Check Your Internet Connection
BearVPN requires an active internet connection to work.
- Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Try loading a website without BearVPN to confirm your connection is stable.
2. Restart the BearVPN App
Sometimes a quick restart resolves temporary glitches.
- Close the BearVPN app completely.
- Reopen it and try connecting again.
3. Switch VPN Servers
The server you’re trying to connect to may be busy or temporarily unavailable.
- Open the server list in the BearVPN app.
- Select a different location and attempt to reconnect.
4. Update the BearVPN App
Using an outdated app version can cause connection issues.
- Check your app store (App Store / Google Play) for updates.
- Install the latest version and try again.
5. Check Device Settings
- Ensure your device’s date and time settings are set to automatic.
- If you’re using a firewall, antivirus, or another VPN, disable it temporarily and retry.
6. Restart Your Device
A simple reboot often clears system conflicts that may prevent VPN connections.
7. Reinstall BearVPN
If none of the above works:
- Uninstall BearVPN.
- Download and install the latest version from the official app store.
- Log in with your account credentials (email, Apple ID, or product key).
8. Contact BearVPN Support
If you’re still unable to connect, reach out to our support team.
